Ninety-Nine
Count up, don't tip over. Ninety-nine is the cliff edge.
2 to 12 players · Cards · Quick · About 8 to 15 min · Tapping · Great against computer players
How to play
- A running total climbs from zero and nobody may take it past ninety-nine.
- You hold three cards: play one, add its value to the total, then draw a fresh card.
- Some cards are lifesavers. A ten takes ten off, a nine adds nothing, a four turns the order round, and a king slams the total straight to ninety-nine.
- If every card in your hand would burst the total you lose a life. Last player with lives left wins.
